It is not the remit of accreditation bodies to provide interpretation of standards. Accreditation body's function is to attest the conduct of certifying bodies. Organisations seeking guidance on how to interpret a standard should first contact the standards writing body and then perhaps collate a view from various sources within the quality assurance market place. These would include professional bodies, training providers and consultants. QABCB however, has provided guidance to Certifying bodies on how they must prepare for the revised standard.
